ABOUT OUR MISSION & HISTORY.
The story of KRINDED PAWS® began in 2023 on the quiet, often overlooked corners of American streets. While many see the bright lights and busy traffic of our cities, we saw the shadows—the loyal companions left behind, the injured wanderers, and the forgotten souls navigating a world that had moved on without them.
Founded during a time of immense challenge for animal welfare, our foundation was built on a single, unwavering belief: No animal should have to face the elements alone. We didn't start with a sprawling facility; we started with a mission to be the bridge between the cold pavement and a warm bed.
The Meaning of the "Krind"
The word "Krinded" speaks to the reality of our work. It represents the grit of survival and the kindred spirit we share with every animal we rescue. When we find an animal in distress, they are often "street-worn"—marked by the dust of the road and the trauma of abandonment. Our job is to see past the grime to the heart of the animal beneath.
Our Work: A National Mission
Across America, from urban alleyways to rural roadsides, Krinded Paws acts as a specialized rescue unit for animals in immediate distress. Our process is comprehensive and compassionate:
Active Rescue: We go where the need is greatest, responding to reports of animals in life-threatening situations.
Medical Rehabilitation: Many of our rescues come to us with "street injuries"—malnutrition, exhaustion, and untreated wounds. We provide the urgent veterinary care needed to save their lives.
Emotional Healing: Physical wounds heal with medicine, but the spirit heals with time. We provide a safe, patient environment where traumatized animals can learn to trust a human hand again.

A street is no place for a soul. Every animal we bring into the Krinded Paws family is a testament to resilience. We believe that by rescuing these animals, we aren't just changing their world—we are making our communities more compassionate. We represent the second chance that every living creature deserves.
Looking Toward the Future
Since our founding in 2023, we have worked tirelessly to expand our network of fosters, medical partners, and volunteers. Our dream is a future where "street animal" is a term of the past. Until then, KRINDED PAWS® will be out there—on the pavement, in the rain, and under the overpasses—bringing them home, one paw at a time.
